Showers, then seasonable weather
Yesterday was an unseasonably warm day here in the Cambridge area. Logan Airport recorded a high of 67°F. This was 20 degrees warmer than the normal high, but well shy of the record of 74°F.
This stretch of mild temperatures will gradually come to an end as the week progresses. Showers will infiltrate the region this afternoon and evening, and leave in their wake slightly cooler weather. Highs will dip back into the 50s after today, and will steadily get cooler over then next three to five days. The bright side is that the cooler weather will be accompanied by clear skies. Thursday through Saturday look to be beautiful fall days. Take advantage of these days before winter sets in!
