Heat cedes to the reign of rain
Thursday brought record-breaking heat to the Boston area, as temperatures of 88°F were recorded at Logan airport, topping the previous record for the day of 86°F set in 1977. Unluckily for those who enjoy the heat (and luckily for those who don’t), temperatures will be dropping this weekend as rain begins to move in. Starting on Friday afternoon, temperatures will remain relatively mild, most likely not exceeding the 50s and not going below the 40s. Clouds will move in on Saturday and chances for rain will begin that night, so make sure to bring your umbrellas while you’re out and about enjoying the CPW festivities!
