Women’s Tennis Dominates in First Ever Match Against NYU

The women’s tennis team, ranked 23rd in the nation, decisively defeated New York University 8-1 in the first ever meeting between the two teams on Saturday. While the score may seem one-sided, the Lady Engineers still had to fight back from deficits in several of its matches.

The women’s tennis team traveled to Pasadena, CA over spring break last week for the opportunity to train, bond, and compete. On Monday, they faced rival Caltech, whom they dominated, 9-0.

Wang Dominates As Women’s Tennis Out-Duels Trinity College

The Engineers pulled out a solid victory over Trinity University on Saturday, leaving with a 7-2 win. A record number of fans were in attendance at the J.B. Carr indoor tennis bubble to cheer them on to their win, including President Susan Hockfield and her husband, Thomas Byrne.
