Rainy conditions for mid-week; otherwise sunny and pleasant
Clear skies continue to rule the weather pattern as high pressure, located near the Carolinas, moves slowly northeast. Through Wednesday, the high will sustain southwesterly winds, bringing warm temperatures from the Gulf states.
At the same time, a weak cold front will form over the upper Midwest and reach New England by late Wednesday. The front should bring showers and some storms at that time, which will last into Thursday morning. A weak low pressure will also accompany the front, helping to stream in more moisture from the south. After that system departs, sunny conditions will resume but temperatures will be a bit cooler and range in the upper 60s°F (19-21°C).
