CORRECTIONS
Last Friday’s opinion column about South Sudan incorrectly cited 1983 as the year that President Omar Hassan al-Bashir came to power in Sudan. Al-Bashir assumed office in 1989.
A front-page photo caption published last Friday incorrectly identified the students lashing a rollerblade to Maseeh Hall’s land-yacht as Maseeh residents. The students were James R. Douberley ’13, right, and Gabriel D. Karpman ’13, left, both East Campus residents.
