Institute Double Take
The limited dynamic range of a camera can often pose difficulties for the photographer, but in certain situations, it can also create artistic possibilities.
This photograph was shot from the interior of MIT Medical, looking upwards and west towards the setting sun. The small aperture maximizes the depth of field, keeping the image sharp throughout. The exposure was chosen to correctly expose the sunlit areas while throwing the shadows into a deep black.
