Four Tech Hockey Players Will Compete on East Team In NECHA's All-Star Game
Four members of MIT's men's ice hockey team were named to the NorthEast Collegiate Hockey Association (NECHA) East All-Star Team, which will compete against the West's squad on Saturday, March 17, at the Conway Arena in Nashua, N.H. Center John J. Bergin '06 and wingers Tim E. Studley '07 and Nick R. LaBounty '09, along with defenseman Nicholas J. Maietta '07, will represent the Engineers in the postseason exhibition.
Holbrook Wins NCAA Title in 3-Meter
Doria M. Holbrook ’08 became MIT’s first national champion of the 2006-07 season on Saturday evening, bringing the three-meter diving title back to Cambridge after winning the event with a cumulative finals score of 480.90.

Hockey’s Brenman Nabs ECAC Award
Sophomore defender Stephanie V. Brenman ’09 was named an ECAC East All-Conference Team Honorable Mention after tallying seven goals and seven assists to rank third in scoring on MIT’s women’s ice hockey team. She is the second player in the program’s history to receive this award as goaltender. Regina M. Sullivan ’05 was chosen in 2004-05. The Engineers recorded the best season in the program’s existence as they finished the year with an overall record of 5-14 and set new Institute standards in every offensive category.
