As a dedicated consumer of the goods from Life Alive Organic Cafe, I can confidently say that they offer the ultimate sanctuary for those seeking wholesome, organic food that nourishes both body and mind. For those who don’t know me, I’m basically Life Alive’s biggest customer. I can usually be found three to four times per week stopping by to purchase my go-to PB&J Acai bowl––a perfect blend of creamy peanut butter, fresh strawberries, and home-made granola that keeps me coming back time and time again.

During my latest visit, I decided to switch things up. At the recommendation of one of my friends, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and order the Farmhouse Cobb Salad (no tomatoes, of course). I am usually not a fan of salads, but I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant medley of shaved vegetables, avocado, hard-boiled eggs, and smoked blue cheese; the ingredient that brought everything together, however, was the hot honey mustard vinaigrette. With each bite being a burst of flavor, the dish was as delicious as it was nourishing. Paired with their Iced Cafe Latte made with oat milk, the meal was a perfect balance of tastiness and nutrients.

What really sets Life Alive Kendall Square apart is their commitment to organic and locally sourced ingredients. Having just opened their doors in 2022, Life Alive has already become a favorite spot for students and faculty. Whether you’re searching for a hearty breakfast or a light lunch, their menu has something for everyone.

For those planning a visit, I have a few tips to offer which I’ve gathered through lots of experience. First, if you’re in the mood for breakfast, try to get there before 11 a.m. to enjoy their exclusive morning menu. If you’re a fan of seasonal flavors, be sure to mark your calendar for October 1st when their autumn menu launches. The Autumn Falafel, with roasted brussels sprouts, carrots, and butternut squash paired with their crispy baked falafel, is a must-try. As we head towards winter, don’t forget to warm up with a cup of their Butternut Bisque Soup or splurge on a Butternut Spice Latte.

Life Alive is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., making it a convenient spot for early birds and night owls alike. No matter if you're stopping by for a quick bite between classes or settling in for a leisurely meal, the cafe provides a welcoming atmosphere where you can unwind and savor food that leaves you feeling nourished and energized for the rest of your day.

Life Alive Organic Cafe is truly a place where the food is as vibrant and diverse as the community it serves. It’s a place where I feel at home, where I can indulge in my favorites, and where I’m always excited to try something new. If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend giving it a try—you might just find it becomes your new go-to spot, too.
