Warm, sunny days to soak up the summer

A string of warm, sunny days are coming for Boston following Independence Day weekend. Dewpoints remain high especially along the coast, and scattered thunderstorms are possible heading into the next few days. Though it hasn’t been the warmest of summers in Boston, beware of the humidity which is driving up heat indices!

In the central US, thunderstorms have been sweeping through the Great Plains, with Iowa and Indiana still recovering from a derecho that caused widespread damage last week. Smoke from the Canadian wildfires has continued to blanket much of the northern US. It’s been quite the active time for weather, so we hope you’re staying weather-safe, wherever you are!
