Simmons bathrooms will be cleaned in pilot program
Later this year, the Division of Student Life (DSL) will pilot a cleaning program for the shared bathrooms in Simmons to promote health and wellness.
This initiative is in response to recent changes in Simmons rooming conditions: this year is the first year that the dorm has forced triples.
With this program, Simmons will be on par with other undergraduate residences that already have their shared bathrooms cleaned.
Matthew Bauer, Director of Communication for the Division of Student Life, stated that the “[DSL] will work with the Simmons community to gauge the effectiveness of this pilot later in the academic year.”
Soap and paper towel dispensers have also been installed in the bathrooms. This year has also seen the addition of soap to Burton-Conner, Maseeh, and Random.
