Another body found in the Charles River

Early morning last Wednesday, March 27, Mass. State Police responded to reports of a body in the Charles River under the Harvard Bridge. The body was pulled out of the river around 9 a.m. The Suffolk County DA is investigating the death.

Suffolk DA Press Secretary Jake Wark said that there was no evidence that the death was criminal in nature, and therefore an identity would not be released, though Wark did confirm that it was not an MIT student. The body does not appear to be Brown University student Sunil Tripathi, who has been missing for two weeks, Wark said to The Boston Globe.

This is the fourth body pulled out of the Charles River since October 2012.
