FredFest III, East Campus’ annual music festival, will be occurring tonight at 7 p.m. in the East Campus courtyard.
The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch, in its tenth year, will take place this weekend on Kresge Oval. The MIT Glass Lab will be selling glass pumpkins Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., following a preview event tonight.
The nomination of Subra Suresh, the Dean of Engineering, for director of the National Science Foundation was approved by a committee of the U.S. Senate yesterday. The nomination will now go to the full Senate.
