Tang Held Without Bail On Probable Cause
Anna Tang, the Wellesley College junior accused of stabbing Next House resident Wolfe B. Styke ’10, was ordered held without bail on probable cause in a Nov. 7 dangerousness hearing. Tang, who pleaded not guilty to charges of home invasion and armed assault with intent to murder, was not present at the Cambridge District Court hearing.
A pretrial conference, which is a discussion of the case and bail, is set for Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. at Cambridge District Court.
On Oct. 23, Tang allegedly stabbed Styke, her ex-boyfriend, several times while he slept. She was allegedly given access to his Next House room in the early morning by a night watchman. Styke, who suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries, was treated and released from Massachusetts General Hospital. He is attending classes.
