On Mar. 14, colloquially known as Pi Day, the Institute hosted a free pie event for the community in Lobby 13 and Lobby 10. Held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the events offered a myriad of free pie selections including blueberry, lemon, chocolate, or apple. Pizzas were also served. Community members were also able to have their picture taken with Tim the Beaver.

The atmosphere was jovial, with music being blasted as crowds gathered for pie. Pi day has been a tradition at the Institute: it is also the admissions release date for regular decision applicants. The MindHandHeart and Office of the First Year organized this year’s Pi Day.
